Aligned with Devonport Airport’s ongoing commitment to safety, obstacle limitation removal works are being conducted during mid-May. These works provide compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s (CASA) Manual of Standards and ensure safest air egress to and from the airport through obstacle removal.
Works are due to take place from 14 to 21 May in the vicinity of the Pardoe Northdown conservation area, along the northern boundary of the airport.
The project is expected to take approximately one week, using specialist labour. Following this, revegetation activities will be undertaken within the affected area using native vegetation.
